Job Responsibilities • Reinforcement Installation: Read and interpret construction plans to accurately place, cut, bend, and install steel bars or mesh within concrete structures. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues. • Quality Assurance: Ensure that steel reinforcement is positioned precisely according to engineering specifications, maintaining structural integrity. • Collaboration: Work closely with other construction team members to coordinate tasks and contribute to the successful completion of projects. • Concrete Pouring Support: Assist during concrete pouring, ensuring steel reinforcement is in place to reinforce the concrete structure effectively. • Material Handling: Safely handle, transport, and store steel bars and other materials, minimizing damage and maintaining an organized work area. • Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspect installed reinforcement for any defects, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments as required.
