Job Title Colour Consultanat ob Purpose Ø Provide professional consultation to customers through various available finish and color options, and help them choose the best; in-line with the décor of their homes. Main Responsibilities: § Understand the customer space and requirements and provide the complete solution for colours, designs and décor incorporating existing features of their homes § Work with different aiding tools and technology to help customers choose from the wide range of products & designs for their home décor makeover. § Consult customers by creating a stress free and enjoyable experience for décor selection. § Upgrade the customers to better & high quality product § onsult the customers for complete basket of solutions and products for best results § Consult the customers for the complete painting and décor solutions through on time painting service available at the store § Actively take on any task, activity or project in-line with the store requirements § Daily reporting of the activities and consultations at the store through proper mediums. § Maintaining any other reports / formats as mandated by asian paints Other responsibilities: § Co-ordinate with customer associate to provide complete solutions to the customer § Co-ordinate with contractors and ensure their attendance in all contractor training programs organized by asian paints § Be diligent and ensure timely attendance / completion of all programs and modules designed by asian paints for training and development of customer associates. Scope of Work a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): • Rates for any product or service to be quoted to customer only after confirmation from dealer. • Cash handling by CC is strictly not allowed b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): • Close co-ordination with customer associate for complete solution to customers through on time painting service • Close ordination with dealer for sales conversion after consultation c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide) • Customer consultation to be done only at the store where the colour consultant is deployed. On site consultations and site visits by colour consultants is not recommended. d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): NA Key Interactions Internal • Store owner, Customer associate, Designer associate, Senior Designer, Divisional Retail Executive External • Customers, contractors, other influencers Role Requirements / Specifications Qualifications Essential : • BSc or MSc in interior designing/fine arts/creative field.(Min 50% in graduation) OR • Any graduate with diploma in interior designing. (Min 50% in graduation) OR • 12+ 2years of full time diploma in interior designing or fine arts. (Min 50% in diploma) • Age less than 25 Years. • Should be an Indian citizen Desired : Previous Experience Essential : • Not required / Freshers can be consid Desired : • Prior work experience as an Interior Designer/Architect is preferable – minimum 1 year Functional Competencies • Fluency in English, Hindi & local language • Excellent communication and people skills • High orientation for customer servicing and customer delight. • Ability to learn and work with technology applications & software related to home décor • Orientation towards colour and basic understanding of colour in the home décor space Behavioral Competencies • Willingness to work in a retail environment and engage with clients across age and income groups for 8.5 hours a day and 6 days in a week • Follow grooming and etiquette standards at all times while on duty • Develop a healthy working environment for co-workers and effectively contribute in any team-based tasks Additional Requirements • Discipline in adherence to work timings
