We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release. They are responsible for analyzing user requirements, business objectives, building Java modules and testing features before release. You have to deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications and recommend changes to existing JAVA- based applications. Responsibilities  Identify and analyze user requirements.  Prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle.  Develop Java EE applications.  Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.  Review, test, and debug the code with team members.  Design database architecture with specifications.  Prepare and schedule product releases with internal teams.  Maintain document through whole development phases.  Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date.  Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.  Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement  Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken. Qualifications & skills  Work experience as a Senior Java Developer or similar role.  Experience in micro services- API, designing, building and testing using Java EE platforms, spring, hibernate, web services with integrations layer.  Relevant expertise in UML modelling, OOA and OOD Concepts.  Good experience in Web services development (SOAP and RESTful).  Experience in e-commerce would be added advantage.  In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC.  Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD).  Good delegation and time management skills.  Being able to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and be able to apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios.  BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
