Roles and Responsibilities-  Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.  Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.  Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.  Monitoring inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.  Maintaining and updating supplier information such as delivery times, product ranges, etc.  Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.  Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.  Coordination with sales and support team.  Must have good knowledge of the products. (like technical knowledge of the Product and Substitute product that are available) Requirements and skills-  Good communication skills with a pleasing personality candidate will be preferred.  Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market  Talent in negotiations and networking.  Experience in collecting and analyzing data  Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
