Grand Prix has one of the most modern and well equipped world class manufacturing facilities near New Delhi spanning 6000 square meters covered area with in-house CNC Plasma Profile Cutting, Heavy Plate Bending, CNC Hydraulic Press Brake, Submerged Arc-Welding, Strip Cladding Equipment, Heat Treatment, Grit Blasting and Painting facilities. Requirements: Position: Purchase Manager Education: Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred Experience: 10- 12 years experience in Heavy Engineering Industries having good command in sourcing of Plates, Forgings, Tubes, Pipe, Fitting, Fasteners, Gaskets, Welding consumables etc. • Experience using procurement software and databases. • Supervisory experience. Job Description: • Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies • Work with suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments • Reviews and processes purchase orders. • Manages other members of the purchasing team. • Maintains records of goods ordered and received. • Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers. • Builds and maintains relationships with vendors. • Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts. • Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price. • Coordinates with team to monitor inventory and determine supply needs. • Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise. • Analyzes demand and forecast to set optimized buy plan Skills: • Excellent organizational skills. • Effective communication skills. • Negotiation skills. • Research and analytical skills. • Interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail.
