Summary : We are looking for an SEO expert with 5+ years of experience to manage all search engine optimization activities. You will be responsible for developing and managing the SEO roadmap and drive initiatives till the completion also. JOB DESCRIPTION/ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The backbone of marketing for every travel website lies in search engine optimisation (SEO). As an SEO specialist for all SEO initiatives, you'll also be involved in the following: 1. Develop and maintain SEO roadmap. Communicate optimisation opportunities and risks across all parts of the organisation 2. Manage and lead global and local SEO efforts 3. Perform ongoing technical SEO audits, backlink analysis, content analysis and opportunity identification 4. Oversee the research of best practices, popular keywords, and other useful metrics, and eventually analysis, modification and adoption 5. Strategize and collaborate editorial/content teams on content creation, SEO optimization, linking and distribution 6. Analyze trends of searches to understand market movements and power teams with insights on business terms useful to capitalize on 7. Training the new SEO team member on new strategies and future algorithms with educating other teams as well on the functional importance. What are we looking for? The best candidates also possess the following: 1. > 5 years of professional SEO experience 2. BA/BS in business management, computer science or applicable discipline 3. Analytical and metric driven, with experience in working in highly competitive markets across geographies and should be able to demonstrate a clear and proven SEO process 4. Deep understanding of search engine ranking factors, semantics, algorithms and core SEO principles 5. Expert with SEO tools such as GA, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SimilarWeb, MOZ, SEMRush 6. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript for SEO purposes as well as site and network architecture 7. Able to conduct content generation projects - such as blogging. 8. A content marketing expert to build great content marketing links and improve the value of overall domain 9. Superior relationship-building skills and be able to deliver results working with cross-functional teams 10. Experience in working with large scale / travel or ecommerce sites 11. Able to work on server logs to understand crawl patterns and take actionable steps. 12. Knowledge on multilingual websites, mobile or app optimization would be an advantage.
