Good knowledge of open source network monitoring tools like Nagios, Cacti, etc. Must have good knowledge of Apache and Tomcat web servers. Must be able to implement TLS and SSL secure communications. Ability to execute various compliance tests including PCI DSS. Must be good in configuring and managing linux mail servers like Sendmail, Postfix and Zimbra. Should have good understanding of bulk mailing techniques. Must have strong knowledge of IP tables. Must be able to set up and maintain Version control system (SVN). Must be able to set up and maintain bugs tracking system (Bugzilla). Good understanding of Disk Management and partitioning tools like fdisk, sfdisk , parted etc. Good understanding of LVM (Logical Volume Manager) and RAID concepts. Must be good in Linux kernel tuning & driver compilation/installation. Must be able to configure and manage backup and recovery solutions. Must be able to Upgrade and Patch Linux O/S.
