Buyer Supply Chain

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsbilities will include but not limited to-
Execution of SCM interface to meet on time-delivery as per production plan sequence through e-Material flow, optimising production capacity at SCP’s, Implementation of continuous incremental improvement in product quality, reliability & delivery for material & Logistics cost reduction
- Monthly Scheduling, Daily adherence, Parts procurement as per plan
- Supplier Quality Audit, CAPA Closure
- Plan Inventory Norms & ensure adherence
- Plan Logistics resources & optimising resources based on vehicle production.
- Parts arrangement for PP1/PP2 lots after 4M audit
- Maintain zero Obsolesce after New Model changeover

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on following-
IR issue at Supplier
Skilled labour shortage at Supplier in Summers and Festive season
Frequent changes in Model-mix production plan & Fluctuation in demand

Managing Internal Stakeholders like Production Planning & Control Team, Warehousing Team, SQA for daily issues & quality sustainance, and external stakeholders like Supply Chain Partners for RM Planning, Capa Closure, Stock Updation

Academic Qualification & Experience

BE./B.Tech with 5-8 years of experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1) GD&T, Drawing Reading
2) Process Know-how of different commodities such as forging, sheet metal, casting, welding etc.
3) SAP-MM Module
4) Knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
5) Problem solving through 7 QC Tools

Behavioural Skills
