Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary and health-conscious Senior / Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. This role demands an experienced professional with a passion for health-driven cuisine, the ability to design and execute innovative menus, and leadership skills to manage a high-performing kitchen team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both creativity and discipline to the role.

  • Key Responsibilities: Menu Development:

  • Design and develop nutritious, calorie-conscious menus aligned with current health and wellness trends.
  • Collaborate with dietitians/nutritionists to ensure meals meet specific dietary requirements (e.g., keto, vegan, diabetic-friendly, gluten-free).
  • Innovate seasonal and weekly specials to maintain customer engagement.
  • Kitchen Leadership:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and high food quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff in culinary techniques and health-oriented cooking.
  • Manage kitchen schedules, inventory, and procurement in line with budget and sustainability goals.
  • Quality Control:

  • Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards (HACCP, local food authority guidelines).
  • Cost Management:

  • Monitor food costs and implement cost-effective strategies without compromising quality.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favourable terms for fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Customer Experience:

  • Collaborate with front-of-house and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Support in curating packaging, labelling, and customer education around nutritional values.
  • Requirements: Proven experience (3+ years) as a Head/Senior/Executive Chef in a health-conscious, fine dining, or modern kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training in food and nutrition preferred.
  • Deep understanding of nutrition, macronutrients, and dietary planning.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of managing diverse teams.
  • Passion for healthy living, sustainability, and culinary innovation.
  • Proficiency in modern cooking techniques, including sous-vide, fermentation, and plant-based cuisine.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management software is a plus.
