Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Accounting TasksAssist in maintaining day-to-day accounting entries in Tally or other accounting software.
- Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, and payment entries.
- Handle petty cash and maintain proper cash records.
- Billing & DocumentationPrepare customer invoices, quotations, and credit/debit notes.
- Verify bills, collect supporting documents, and maintain file records.
- Assist in project billing and basic cost tracking (if required).
- ReconciliationPerform bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and customer outstanding follow-up.
- Verify balances and report mismatches to the senior accountant.
- Tax & Compliance SupportAssist in the preparation of GST, TDS, and other compliance data.
- Coordinate with auditors during monthly or yearly audits.
- Coordination & SupportSupport the senior accountant in financial reporting and data entry.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for billing- and payment-related queries.
- Prepare and maintain Excel sheets, reports, and statements.
- Qualifications & SkillsB.Com / M.Com / Finance-related degree.
- 0–2+ years of experience in accounting (freshers with knowledge can also apply).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP / Excel is preferred.
- Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy.
