Job Description
- Accountant Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)
- Bookkeeping & Core Accounting: Finalize Zoho Books monthly to produce P&L and Balance Sheets. This includes clearing all customer and vendor balances , managing bank-related tasks (new accounts, debit cards) , and maintaining an Amazon Profitability Tracker to calculate per-unit profit.
- Inventory Management: Monthly validation of actual stock counts (provided by packing staff) against the Busy software. You must also ensure Zoho stock records match actual physical stock.
- GST Filing & Reconciliation: Timely filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. You are responsible for matching GSTR-1 sales with Zoho data and reconciling GSTR-2B to ensure no tax claims are missed.
- TDS Management: Maintain the TDS tracker sheet, reconciling TDS paid versus claims received on a monthly basis.
- Import & Finalization: Manage all Bill of Entry (BoE) documentation, calculate import costing for sales, and handle bank "knockoffs". You must maintain hard copies of all financial documents for audit readiness.
