Bar Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations, maintain high service standards, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities, a good understanding of beverages, and experience managing a high-volume bar.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day bar operations, staff schedules, and inventory.

Ensure smooth service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Train, supervise, and motivate bartenders and bar staff.

Maintain stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and coordinate with suppliers.

Ensure bar cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with safety standards.

Develop beverage menus, seasonal cocktails, and promotions with the mixologist.

Handle customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution.

Monitor bar costs, wastage, and overall profitability.

Ensure all cash handling and billing procedures are followed correctly.

Maintain a professional and positive work environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bar management or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar equipment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to manage high-pressure situations and large teams.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in bartending or hospitality management.

Experience in themed or specialty bars (e.g., Mexican, continental, or premium bars).
