IP Analytics team of Honeywell’s IP COE is a leading provider of IP project services to Honeywell SBG’s. Our service portfolio includes patent search & analytics, patent prosecution, patent application drafting, strategic IP projects, competitive tech intelligence and Open source software compliance. We support SBG IP Counsels in managing their IP processes and portfolios.

 

Key responsibilities:

  1. IP Analyst II is responsible for supporting end-to-end IPSG clearance process with FTO searching including feature assessment and risk analysis with high level of diligence.
  2. IP Analyst II is responsible for managing own delivery including independent interaction with engineering & IP counsels, need assessment, formulating project scope and execution.
  3. IP Analyst II is responsible for assisting on strategic IP projects such as tech strategy research, white space analysis, enforcement, M&A IP due diligence.
  4. IP Analyst II is expected to apply significant product / technology knowledge of aligned business domain into the work.

Must Have

1.     Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

2.     3+ years of experience in intellectual property function

3.     Hands on experience in patent search & analytics

  1. Patent search and analytic skills such as patentability assessment / validity studies / FTO analysis / technology landscaping / due diligence is a must.
  2. Very good understanding of US, EP and India patenting systems.
  3. Excellent understanding of patent classifications, standard tools and databases, various analytics methodologies.
  4. Dynamically manage multiple expectations and conflicting priorities.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills.
  6. Excellent personal leadership, interpersonal skills and team player.
