Financial Advisor

A Financial Advisor at HDFC Life is responsible for identifying customer needs, offering suitable insurance solutions, generating new business, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role focuses on financial planning, sales, and providing long-term protection & investment solutions to clients.

• Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business GenerationIdentify potential customers and generate leads through various channels.
• Promote HDFC Life insurance products based on customer financial needs.
• Conduct meetings, presentations, and explain product features & benefits.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• 2. Customer Needs AnalysisUnderstand clients’ financial goals (protection, investment, savings, retirement).
• Recommend suitable life insurance plans accordingly.
• Provide detailed financial planning support if required.
• 3. Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Ensure smooth policy issuance, documentation, and service requests.
• Assist clients with claims, renewals, and policy servicing.
• 4. Market & Product KnowledgeStay updated on HDFC Life products, features, and benefits.
• Understand market trends and competitor offerings.
• Explain financial concepts in simple and clear terms.
• 5. Compliance & ReportingFollow IRDAI guidelines and company compliance standards.
• Maintain daily sales reports, customer records, and follow-up logs.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good sales & negotiation ability.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Basic knowledge of finance/insurance (training will be provided).
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• Eligibility & RequirementsMinimum qualification: 12th pass (Graduate preferred).
• Experience in sales, finance, or customer service is an advantage.
• Age: 18 years and above (as per IRDAI rules).
• Must be comfortable with fieldwork & meeting customers.
