Social Science Teacher

• Key ResponsibilitiesTeach Global Perspectives curriculum aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage discussion, analysis, and project-based learning.
• Guide students in research, case studies, and comparative analysis of global issues.
• Facilitate group projects, team presentations, debates, and inquiry-based activities.
• Support students in developing skills such as:

• Evaluating different viewpoints
• Prepare students for assessments, coursework, and presentations.
• Maintain accurate student work portfolios and progress records.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary activities.
• Attend training sessions, department meetings, and school events.
• Ensure timely submission of reports, lesson plans, and academic records.

3. Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Humanities / Social Sciences / Political Science / International Relations / Education or related fields.
• B.Ed. preferred (depending on school requirement).

Skills:

• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to facilitate discussions and multiple viewpoints.
• Experience in research methodologies.
• Familiarity with global issues and current affairs.
• Ability to engage students through creative and interactive teaching approaches.
