Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and be capable of creating precise technical drawings and layouts. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working with Microsoft Excel to manage data and create reports. ITI or candidates with incomplete degrees are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD.

Interpret design specifications and convert them into detailed drawings.

Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop and refine project drawings.

Maintain and update drawings according to project changes and revisions.

Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and generating reports.

Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and company guidelines.

Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documents.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting is essential.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

ITI certification or equivalent; candidates with an incomplete degree are also accepted.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Good communication skills for coordinating with other departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in drafting, particularly in construction, architecture, or engineering fields.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to drafting.

Basic understanding of 3D drafting (optional but beneficial).
