Scope of Work: BigData Engineer will work with cross-functional collaboration and communication with members from other teams within Apple (E.g. Developers, Leads, UX Designer, QA, Program Managers, Architects) to complete development and integration work . Roles and Responsibilities: 1. This role is for the people who are tech gurus in their space or dream of becoming one. 2. You need to contribute to the techsophy framework for delivering at 3x speed and use the framework in your projects for your clients. 3. The framework uses products and solutions built by techsophy. We build engineers passionate about their work and create solutions with zero tolerance for the status quo. 4. As an Engineer, you are responsible for building solutions to existing customer challenges in the product/platforms and suggesting improvements, and new features, making them the best for your customers. 5. You take the initiative and act proactively in various client projects and new initiatives like POCs, Pilots, and Prototypes. . Requirement: 1. Hands-on experience on Apache Spark using Scala. 2. Hands-on experience with major components in Hadoop Ecosystem like HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive, Impala. 3. Experienced in implementing Spark RDD Transformations, and actions to implement the business analysis. 4. Strong programming experience in building applications/platforms using Scala. 5. An efficient interpersonal communicator with sound analytical problem-solving skills and management capabilities. 6. Strive to keep the slope of the learning curve high and able to quickly adapt to new environments and technologies. 7. Good knowledge of agile methodology of Software development.
