Job Description
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying prospects, building strong client relationships, driving corporate gifting sales, and managing the complete sales cycle. This role requires excellent communication, strong relationship-building, and the ability to understand client needs and offer suitable gifting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify key decision-makers at potential client companies and initiate meaningful conversations.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships to maximize business value.
- Manage existing client accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle the complete end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, pre-sales meetings, solution presentations, pricing discussions, negotiations, and closing.
- Draft and share professional quotes, proposals, catalogs, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Efficiently coordinate with internal teams (Procurement, Operations, Inventory, and Finance) to ensure smooth order execution.
- Maintain strong follow-up discipline and ensure timely updates on leads and opportunities.
- Ensure accurate order management, including documentation, approvals, and client communication.
- Build and maintain a positive brand reputation through excellent service delivery.
- Participate in festive/catalog promotions and drive seasonal gifting sales.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and client preferences to improve pitch quality.
- Update CRM/trackers regularly and submit weekly sales reports.
