Hardware & Network Engineer

About the RoleThird Sight Solutions is a CCTV & IT infrastructure company specializing in CCTV installation, networking, access control, intercom systems, biometric devices, and IT support.

We are looking for a reliable Hardware & Network Engineer who can independently handle installations, troubleshoot issues at client sites, and deliver professional service.

• Key Responsibilities :
• 🔹 CCTV Installation & ConfigurationInstall and configure IP/Analog cameras, NVR/DVR systems.
• Set up remote viewing on mobile & PC (P2P, port forwarding if needed).
• Resolve camera downtime, IP conflicts, storage issues & network problems.
• Perform site surveys to ensure no blind spots and optimal camera placement.
• 🔹 Networking & Cabling WorkLay and manage CAT6 cables, conduits, casing, and capping.
• Perform crimping, punching, and network rack setup.
• Configure routers, switches, access points, and static/dynamic IPs.
• Diagnose issues like slow network, LAN disconnection, switch faults, etc.
• 🔹 IT Hardware SupportInstall & troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and basic OS setups.
• Handle formatting, OS installation, driver updates, basic software support.
• Provide general IT support for small offices and shops.
• 🔹 Access Control, Biometrics & IntercomInstall biometric devices (eSSL, ZKT, etc.) and configure attendance software basics.
• Set up video door phones, audio intercom systems, and related wiring.
• 🔹 Field Service & Client HandlingAttend service calls and installations independently at customer sites.
• Explain system usage (CCTV playback, access control, NVR UI) to clients.
• Maintain daily service reports, installation logs, and follow-up updates.
• Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of CCTV (IP/Analog), DVR/NVR, mobile view setup.
• Good understanding of LAN, IP addressing, and basic networking.
• Skilled in crimping, cable routing, cable testing, and rack setup.
• Knowledge of basic IT hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to identify faults quickly and solve on-site.
• Ability to work independently at client locations.
• QualificationsITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or Computer Science
• Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with good knowledge can be trained)
• CCNA / Networking course (Preferred, not mandatory)
• Soft SkillsGood communication and customer-handling skills
• Professional behavior at client sites
• Ability to work under pressure
• Quick learner and problem-solving mindset
