HR Executive – Hospitality Sector

Position Type: Full-time

Location: [Suchirindia Pvt Ltd)

Reports To: HR Manager / HR Director


Job Summary:

The HR Executive will oversee and manage all human resources activities within the hotel, including recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive working environment, ensuring the hotel attracts, retains, and develops talent while maintaining compliance with regulations


Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

Coordinate recruitment processes for various hotel departments (e.g., front office, housekeeping, food and beverage).


Screen, interview, and assist in hiring new employees.


Maintain a talent pool and create job advertisements to attract candidates.


Organize onboarding and orientation 


2. Employee Relations:

Act as a liaison between management and staff to address concerns, conflicts, and grievances.


Promote a positive workplace culture and ensure high levels of employee engagement.


Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and take actions based on feedback


3. Training & Development:

Identify training needs and organize programs to enhance employee skills.


Develop and maintain training materials and manuals.


Facilitate ongoing employee development programs for all departments.


4. Performance Management:

Support department managers in evaluating employee performance.


Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems and ensure feedback is provided to employees.


Recommend actions for employee recognition, promotions, and improvements.

5. Compensation & Benefits:

Administer employee payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.


Oversee the hotel’s benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans.

6. Compliance & Record Keeping:

Ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel industry regulations.


Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.


7. Administrative Support:

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.


Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, report generation, and document management.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience: At least 2-3 years of HR experience in the hospitality or service industry.


Skills:


Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.


Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.


Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
