Job Description

KLASP Athleisure LLP, the parent company of the premium activewear brand Hoogah, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations & Sales Manager to drive growth and optimize our day-to-day operations. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in sales, team management, and vendor coordination, who is comfortable working in a startup environment and is flexible to take on diverse responsibilities.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase demand and expand market reach.
  • Identify new offline and online sales opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and marketplace integrations.
  • Track performance metrics and analyze sales data to inform and adjust sales strategies.

2. Team Coordination & Workflow Management:

  • Lead and coordinate internal team members, including the Merchandiser, Designer, and Inventory Helper, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Manage relationships with external part-time hires, including social media content creators, photographers, and event support, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
  • Organize and lead regular team meetings to track progress on sales initiatives, operational tasks, and performance metrics.

3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Oversee vendor relationships, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
  • Coordinate with logistics, manufacturing, and compliance agencies to meet operational standards and ensure a seamless production-to-sales process.

4. Operations Management:

  • Monitor and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to operational standards, workflows, and company policies, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks in real time.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes and tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.

5. Startup Adaptability & Task Flexibility:

  • Adapt quickly to the fast-paced and evolving startup environment, taking on various responsibilities as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve challenges and support new initiatives as the company grows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 6-8 years of experience in sales, operations, or a related role, with a strong background in e-commerce and/or retail.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proven experience in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Flexible, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
