Job Description
- Site Safety ManagementMonitor all site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
- Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the site.
- Ensure barricades, signage, and safety devices are in place.
- 2. Risk Assessment & Hazard ControlCarry out Risk Assessments (RA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for site activities.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive safety measures.
- Report potential hazards to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
- 3. Incident & Accident ManagementInvestigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe incidents.
- Prepare incident/accident reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- 4. Safety Training & AwarenessConduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for workers.
- Educate workers on safe work procedures, emergency response, and PPE usage.
- 5. Compliance & DocumentationMaintain safety records including permits, inspection logs, RA/JSA, and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, company safety standards, and project requirements.
- Assist in preparing Safety Method Statements and HSE plans.
- 6. Emergency PreparednessConduct routine drills (fire, evacuation, first-aid).
- Ensure emergency equipment is available and functional.
