In this role, you will be responsible for implementing industry best SEO practices from initial stage to final. Manage all our websites in terms of SEO, perform technical audit on the website, perform competitor analysis & improve the positioning on SERPs EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor degree in film studies, cinematography or related field KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS-Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut,Illustrator, DaVince Resolve) PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE- 3 - 5 years of work experience as video editor PERSONAL QUALITIES-1) Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio 2) Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity 3) Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing 4) Creative mind and storytelling skills BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCY 1-Creativity: Considers the aesthetics and brand consistency of every document BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCY 2- Quality: Ensures all projects undergo quality control process during all phases BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCY 3- Sound Judgement: Exhibits sound decision-making ability, considering broader implications BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCY 4- Quality: Demonstrates a desire for improvement. Ensures all projects undergo quality control processes during all phases BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCY 5- Demonstrates strong time management skills and an ability to effectively multitask TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES TECHNICAL COMPETENCY 1- Advanced level knowledge on Microsoft Excel & Complete Microsoft Suite TECHNICAL COMPETENCY 2-Knowledge of best SEO Practices & Hacks TECHNICAL COMPETENCY 3- Knowledge of HTML , understand technology & be able to interpret the code written TECHNICAL COMPETENCY 4- Knowledge of Crawl Analysis , Back Link Audit & Tech SEO Audits KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Perform SEO technical audit on all GITAM websites & undertake competitive analysis 2) Figure out the strengths & weakness of the website and take action to improve the traffic and keyword positioning in SERPs 3) Perform Crawl Analysis, Backlink Audit on a monthly/weekly basis, as needed 4) Pull reports from Google Analytics and Search Console to observe the organic trends 5) Basis the organic traffic trends, take actions to improve the traffic 6) Set and adhere to timelines for all SEO projects 7) Prepare website to withstand negative Algorithmic impact
