Job Description

•Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods •Liaise with customers, suppliers & transporters •Use manpower efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets & operational targets are met •Ensure the smooth running of the allocated shift & engage all the resources to meet planned activity levels •Conduct daily huddle with the team to see if there are any challenges & provide solutions •Review the daily activities of the Warehouse, Training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance •Exchange ideas and thoughts with the team &for improvement opportunities in the operational process •Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these •keep stock count up to date and make sure inventories are accurate •Motivate, organize,and encourage teamwork to ensure productivity targets are metor exceeded •Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly,and monthly basis •Do continuous floor walk in the facility to observe the operations and help wherever necessary •Work on employee rosters & manpower planning •Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene,and security in the work environment
