Site Civil Engineer – 2 Years Experience

Role Overview

A detail-oriented and proactive Site Civil Engineer with 2 years of hands-on experience in construction supervision, quality control, and site coordination. Skilled in executing projects as per approved drawings, maintaining site documentation, and ensuring timely progress with high safety and quality standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

1. Construction Supervision :

• Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth execution as per design and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and labor teams to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Verify alignment, levels, and dimensions during structural and finishing stages.

2. Quality Assurance & Control :

• Conduct on-site quality checks for materials and workmanship.
• Perform routine tests such as concrete slump tests, cube casting, compaction testing, etc.
• Ensure adherence to IS codes, project specifications, and engineering best practices.

3. Project Coordination & Reporting :

• Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material consumption logs, and manpower reports.
• Assist in planning material requirements and scheduling work activities.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, consultants, and clients for smooth workflow.

4. Drawings & Technical Documentation :

• Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately.
• Maintain checklists, measurement sheets, and work inspection records.
• Highlight drawing discrepancies and propose practical site solutions.

5. Safety & Compliance :

• Monitor safety protocols and ensure the use of PPE at all times.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote a safe work environment.
• Identify and mitigate potential site hazards.

6. Quantity & Billing Support

• Take measurements and prepare quantity sheets for contractor billing.
• Assist in BOQ verification and material reconciliation.

🧰 Technical SkillsAutoCAD (basic to intermediate):

• MS Excel, MS Word
• Knowledge of IS codes & construction standards
• Site execution: concreting, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, finishing
• Material estimation & measurement

🎓 Qualification:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 2 years of proven experience in building/infrastructure projects
