Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports to: Head Office

Location: Indore

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, manage a team, and build relationships with government officials and existing facilitators. The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, generating new leads, and ensuring seamless collaboration with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development: Design and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  2. Team Management: Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of sales teams.
  3. Business Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare and submit daily reports in the prescribed format, tracking sales performance and forecasting future growth.
  4. Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing facilitators, freelancers, and government officials.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.
  6. Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  7. Project Awareness: Stay up-to-date on project developments and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  8. Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  9. Government Collaboration: Meet with government officials to explore collaboration opportunities.

Basic Requirements:

·        Manage GIER business in the assigned territory.

·        Implement Zed Schedule in all states within the given timeframe.

·        Achieve sales targets.

·        Maintain existing business relationships.

·        Travel extensively (minimum 15 days per month).

Requirements:

·        MBA or Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience.

·        Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·        Proficient in using Android phones and laptops for reporting.

Salary and Benefits:

·        Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 per month.

·        As per company policy, Travel Allowance (TA) and Dearness Allowance (DA).

Additional Requirements:

·        Daily reporting in the prescribed format.

·        Adherence to GIER company terms and conditions.

·        Travel 15-20 days in a month (mandatory)
