As a Field Loan Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of loan officers, driving loan origination volume, and exceeding sales targets within your assigned territory. What You'll Do:
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a team of loan officers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Provide ongoing support, guidance, and performance management to ensure the team reaches its full potential.
- Conduct regular team meetings and individual coaching sessions to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages high performance and professional growth.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive loan origination volume within your assigned territory.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key referral partners, including real estate agents, builders, and other relevant organizations.
- Actively participate in community events and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Loan Origination & Compliance:
- Oversee the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
- Review loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with underwriting and processing teams to facilitate efficient loan closings.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of loan products, pricing, and guidelines.
What You'll Need:
- Proven track record of success in loan origination and sales management within the financial services industry.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the mortgage or personal loan sector.
- Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and coach a team to achieve high performance.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- NMLS license REQUIRED (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
