What You'll Do:

  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a team of loan officers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and performance management to ensure the team reaches its full potential.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and individual coaching sessions to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages high performance and professional growth.
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive loan origination volume within your assigned territory.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key referral partners, including real estate agents, builders, and other relevant organizations.
  • Actively participate in community events and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Loan Origination & Compliance:
  • Oversee the loan origination process, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Review loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with underwriting and processing teams to facilitate efficient loan closings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of loan products, pricing, and guidelines.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven track record of success in loan origination and sales management within the financial services industry.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the mortgage or personal loan sector.
  • Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and coach a team to achieve high performance.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • NMLS license REQUIRED (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
