Job Description

Position: Programme Officer – SamjhoToh Programme

Organization: Aim for the Awareness of Society (AAS)

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh (with travel to Odisha, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh)

Application Deadline: 5 December 2025

About the Programme

SamjhoToh is a youth leadership journey that nurtures empathy, dialogue, and fraternity among adolescents and young people. It is a unique youth-led initiative designed to deepen the understanding and practice of constitutional values, fraternity, love, and harmony in an increasingly polarized world. The programme promotes youth-centric development and civic engagement through reflective conversations, shared experiences, and community action.

Curated by ComMutiny – The Youth Collective (CYC), SamjhoToh is implemented across Odisha, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh through 27 partner organizations. Each partner hosts one or two trained facilitators who engage batches of 35–40 adolescents and youth in a one-year transformative journey.

Aim for the Awareness of Society (AAS) serves as the implementing hub, providing strategic coordination, capacity building, and programmatic support to ensure impactful execution across programme locations.

We seek a dynamic individual who believes in youth leadership, social harmony, and constitutional citizenship.

  • Manage monthly and quarterly reporting, documentation, and contribute to the Information Management System (IMS).
  • Design and facilitate trainings and workshops for facilitators and partner organizations.
