Job Description

Role OverviewThe Mutual Fund Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, advising clients on mutual fund investments, onboarding new investors, and driving AUM growth for Investverse. The role requires strong communication skills, a good understanding of financial products, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Sales Growth
  • Identify, engage, and acquire new clients interested in mutual fund investments.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups, meetings, and calls to convert leads into active investors.
  • Achieve monthly AUM and sales targets set by the management.
  • Investment Advisory & Portfolio Support
  • Understand client goals, risk profile, and investment preferences.
  • Recommend suitable mutual fund schemes (debt, equity, hybrid, ELSS, SIPs).
  • Support clients in SIP/STP/SWP planning and portfolio monitoring.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Assist clients in MF onboarding, KYC completion, and application processing.
  • Ensure compliance with AMFI/SEBI guidelines and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and follow-ups.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure recurring investments.
  • Handle client queries related to returns, fund performance, portfolio allocation, and redemptions.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio review discussions.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate with internal team for transactions, statements, MIS, and client reports.
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and target achievements for management review.
  • Provide market updates and product insights to clients whenever required.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Mutual Funds, SIPs, Portfolio Basics (must).
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Comfortable with sales, calling, and lead conversion.
  • Good understanding of financial planning concepts.
  • AMFI/NISM VA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Key Traits RequiredStrong customer centricity and relationship-building ability.
  • Target-oriented with high ownership.
  • Good analytical ability for understanding product suitability.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and willing to learn.
