Site Engineer

Role Description -

• Oversee daily on-site activities related to interior fit-out: partitions, ceilings, painting, flooring, joinery, furniture installation, etc.
• Read, interpret and verify architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, labor teams, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure that materials (furniture components, joinery, finishes) are delivered, stored carefully, and installed as per specification.
• Ensure adherence to design specifications, material tolerances, and dimensional accuracy.
• Estimate and control material consumption, manpower deployment, and other site resources.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of workmanship (joinery, carpentry, finishing, etc.).
• Work with procurement / purchase team to ensure timely material availability.
• Provide technical support to on-site teams (craftsmen, carpenters, installers)
• Suggest improvements, methods, or alternative solutions to better align work with design intent.

Qualifications & Skills -

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out, joinery, furniture installation, and finishing works.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings (Architectural / Structural / MEP)
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Leadership — ability to supervise labor, subcontractors, and teams.
