Job Summary: The Mobile Development (FLUTTER) Instructor serves as a team member with SWS Learnings staff ensuring the delivery of quality vocational training as well as adhering to the mission of LPU. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: ● Teach assigned courses and deliver classroom instruction and project work. ● Help to maintain and enhance program curriculum, project work, student assignments, and program materials. ● Adequately prepare and suggest improvements to all course materials and lessons. ● Instruct class modules and provide support to students during instruction. Assist students during class time in understanding work, completing projects and meeting requirements. ● Provide Interesting and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes in a real-life setting. ● Produce and maintain program documentation, student progress logs, lesson plans, new assignments, quizzes and tests where required. ● Provide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations and timelines through carefully written topical outlines and approved, standardised syllabus ● Monitor student progress, including attendance, academic record and progress and have periodic individual student meetings. Grade and report on student work. ● Act as a substitute as needed. ● Post and maintain office and classroom schedules ● Be available to students to answer questions during breaks and during daily lab time. You must be able to work with students of varying skill level and be sensitive to the barriers students may face to their progress. ● Be prepared to grow and learn in your role. Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: ● Excellent communication skills. ● Administrative and technology skills adequate to build course materials and track and report student progress. ● Ability to demonstrate concern and sensitivity toward students and their individual needs and learning styles. ● Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. ● Must have the ability to communicate with and relate to a diverse group of people including clients, community, and other staff. ● Must have excellent administrative and organisational skills. ● The position requires an ability to work flexible hours including some early mornings and evenings. Experience: ● Can give Flutter Training ● Proven experience building Mobile Applications using Flutter ● Building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms ● Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms. ● Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms. ● Strong knowledge and practical experience in Web API ● Soft and Communication skills are highly recommended ● ITI Graduate with experience is a Plus, not a must ● Experience 3+ years in the same field as a programmer ● Experience 2+ years in the same field as a trainer is a PLUS ● BSc of Engineering or Computer Science is a PLUS, not a must ● Must have proven competencies with Dart Flutter Firebase Native Android & iOS Development UX Design, UI [Figma] is a plus Agile/SCRUM Project Management Methodology Quality Assurance Unix & MacOS is a plus Education: ● Degree from accredited college or university OR professional Mobile Development experience.
