Part-Time Senior CAD/CAM Design Engineer (10+ Years Experience Required)

Seeking an experienced CAD/CAM Design Engineer to support the design and development of components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical design expertise and be capable of independently handling complex design assignments involving castings, forgings, fabricated structures, and power transmission components.

This is a strictly part-time position suitable for highly experienced professionals seeking flexible working arrangements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and assemblies using CAD software.
• Design of casting patterns and core boxes for foundry applications.
• Design and detailing of:
• Gears and worm gear systems
• Cast components
• Forged components
• Fabricated and welded structures
• General mechanical machinery components
• Reverse engineering and redesign of existing components when required.
• Preferred QualificationsStrong proficiency in 3D CAD software .
• Extensive experience in mechanical component design and detailing.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes including:
• Casting
• Forging
• Machining
• Fabrication
• Knowledge of sheet metal design is preferred.

Note Regarding Sheet Metal DesignExperience in sheet metal design is desirable; however, candidates with strong mechanical design backgrounds may be considered even if they do not possess extensive sheet metal design experience, as training can be provided.

• Mandatory RequirementsMinimum 10 years of relevant CAD/CAM design experience.
