Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Fiber Network Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing field operations related to fiber optic network installations, splicing, cable laying, and designing. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise in fiber optics, strong project management skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee the installation of fiber optic networks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Perform fiber optic cable splicing and terminations, including fusion splicing and mechanical splicing.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal routes for fiber optic cable installations.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fiber optic networks in the field.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, installations, and maintenance activities.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fiber Network Engineer or similar role in the telecommunications industry.
• Hands-on experience with fiber optic cable splicing techniques and equipment (fusion splicers, OTDR, etc.).
• Knowledge of fiber optic network design principles, including fiber routing, capacity planning, and network architecture.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
