Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, polished, and growth-driven Admissions & Business Development Associate to support the school’s admissions pipeline, parent engagement, marketing coordination, and key operational activities.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy interacting with parents, communicating clearly, managing leads, analysing data, and contributing directly to the growth of a leading K–12 institution.

You will work closely with the Administrative Director and leadership team to improve admissions conversion, enhance parent experience, streamline operations, and support brand-building initiatives.



Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions & Parent Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective parents — calls, walk-ins, emails.
  • Conduct school walk-throughs and present the school’s value proposition confidently.
  • Manage the complete admissions funnel: inquiries → follow-ups → campus visit → conversion.
  • Maintain warm, professional relationships with existing and prospective parents.

2. Lead Management & Business Development

  • Track daily leads from all channels (walk-ins, website, social media, events).
  • Maintain and update Google Sheets dashboards, trackers, and reports.
  • Analyse inquiry data and conversion metrics to support strategy and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with marketing vendors to ensure timely lead updates and campaign alignment.

3. Marketing Coordination & Content Support

  • Assist marketing teams by sharing data, photos, events information, and feedback.
  • Draft parent-facing communication, notices, letters, and event messages using Google Docs and ChatGPT.
  • Create simple collaterals such as event flyers, small posters, or WhatsApp creatives.
  • Support school events, open houses, and community initiatives through coordination and communication.


4. Operations & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate digital and physical student records.
  • Oversee scheduling, vendor coordination, and departmental communication.
  • Ensure timely documentation, filing, and reporting across admissions and operations.


5. Finance & Procurement Support

  • Review invoices, online orders, and vendor documents for accuracy.
  • Assist in reading and updating basic P&L components (training provided).
  • Prepare monthly summary sheets for operational expenses.


Requirements

Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Preference for candidates educated at reputed Kanpur schools (ICSE, CBSE, IB)
  • Prior experience in a school or education-related role is a strong advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in business development, customer relations, admissions, counselling, operations, or coordination roles.


  • Experience managing leads, interacting with clients/customers, and working in structured processes.

Technical & Communication Skills

  • Strong written and spoken English (mandatory).
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive).
  • Ability to create pivot tables, analyse basic data, and maintain dashboards.
  • Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity) for writing, summarising, and operational tasks.
  • Ability to draft clear, professional communication and basic marketing collateral.


Soft Skills
