Job Description

Customer service: GREs are the first and last point of contact for guests, so they are responsible for providing a great customer experience.
Greeting guests: GREs welcome guests and ensure they have a pleasant stay.
Handling complaints: GREs address and escalate guest complaints in a timely manner.
Providing information: GREs provide information about facilities, programs, and other services.
Assisting with reservations: GREs may help arrange reservations and escort guests to their rooms.
Maintaining records: GREs may maintain guest folios and keep records of guests who visit.
Ensuring cleanliness: GREs may inspect dining rooms and serving stations for cleanliness and requisition supplies.
Complying with regulations: GREs may ensure that they comply with restaurant security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
Communicating with staff: GREs may communicate with other staff, such as diners, to inform them of bookings, needs, and complaints.
