Fitter:

1. Proficient in interpreting customer drawings.

2. Ability to work independently.

3. Knowledge of measurement tools and equipment.

4. Ability to read geometric and welding symbols.

5. Skilled in manual drilling and tapping for both metric and inch threads.

6. Capable of supervising and managing a team comprising semi-skilled fitters, welders, and helpers.

Welder :

1. Independent setting of weld machine parameters.

2. Ability to read weld symbols on drawings.

3. Set parameters as per WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).

4. Prepare weld joints and edges as per drawings.

5. Identify welding defects and perform re-welding as required.

6. Strict adherence to safety rules and guidelines during welding.

7. Capable of producing sound welds that pass UT (Ultrasonic Testing) and RT (Radiographic Testing), especially in Complete Joint Penetration.
