LED Technician – Job Description (Detailed)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a responsible and skilled LED Technician to handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LED display screens and video walls. The technician will support the technical team in setting up LED systems at customer locations and ensure proper functioning of the display.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and set up LED display screens, video walls, and digital signage systems

Handle electrical wiring, power connections, and data cabling for LED displays

Configure LED controllers, processors, and related software

Perform testing and quality checks after installation

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues such as pixel failure, module damage, signal problems, or power issues

Replace faulty LED modules, power supplies, receiving cards, and other components

Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of LED displays

Provide on-site technical support during installation and service visits

Coordinate with the technical team for smooth installation and repair work

Ensure safety procedures are followed while handling electrical equipment

Maintain tools and equipment used for installation and servicing

Prepare basic service reports after installation or repair work

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical systems

Experience in LED display installation and maintenance (preferred)

Knowledge of wiring, cabling, and LED module replacement

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems

Familiarity with LED controller configuration and software setup

Good problem-solving and technical skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Requirements:

Diploma / ITI / Technical background preferred

Willingness to travel for site installations when required

Ability to work on-site and handle field technical work

Responsible, punctual, and hardworking
