Responsibilities - Compliance Inspections: Conduct inspections to ensure that all construction, maintenance, and repair activities in the oil and gas industry adhere to relevant codes, standards, regulations, and project specifications. Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and equipment used in projects. Verify that all installations and systems meet industry and company quality standards. Safety Oversight: Promote and enforce safety protocols, practices, and regulations to prevent accidents and incidents. Identify and report safety violations, hazards, and non-compliance issues. Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspection activities, including reports on inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and documentation related to compliance and quality assurance. Testing and Verification: Oversee and participate in the testing and verification of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing systems to ensure functionality and compliance with design specifications. Communication: Effectively communicate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to relay inspection findings, address concerns, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry advancements, changes in codes and standards, and emerging technologies related to electrical, civil, mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing systems in the oil and gas sector.
