Core Job Roles and Responsibilities

Personal assistants handle a diverse range of tasks, serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring smooth daily operations. 

  • Calendar and Schedule Management: Managing complex diaries, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events, and sending reminders for important tasks and deadlines.
  • Communication Handling: Acting as the first point of contact, screening phone calls, emails, and mail, and drafting correspondence on behalf of the employer.
  • Travel Coordination: Organizing and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transport, and creating detailed itineraries.
  • Administrative Support: Maintaining filing systems and databases, preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence, and managing business expenses and invoices.
  • Meeting Management: Organizing meetings and conferences, preparing meeting rooms, and accurately recording and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Task Coordination/Errands: Running various personal or business errands, such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, or coordinating household maintenance, to improve the employer's work-life balance.
