Job Description
- Help the chef prepare a variety of Indian, Continental, and Chinese dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Plating of dishes and innovate menu items that appeal to diverse customer preferences.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently.
- Ensure all food preparation and storage complies with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe and kitchen, including proper sanitation of equipment and workspaces.
- Serve food to customers and take orders as needed.
- Collaborate with management to plan menus, specials, and promotions.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold culinary standards and hygiene practices.
- Ensure timely and efficient food service during café operating hours.
