Operations Supervisor

A delivery supervisor manages a team of delivery drivers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods while overseeing logistics, optimizing routes, and handling customer issues. Key responsibilities include training drivers, monitoring compliance with safety and company policies, and resolving delivery problems. 

Core responsibilities

• Team management: Supervise, coach, and train delivery drivers to meet company standards and goals.
• Logistics and route optimization: Plan and coordinate efficient delivery routes, monitor schedules, and manage the use of outside carriers.
• Operational oversight: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements. This includes managing vehicle maintenance and driver certifications.
• Customer service: Act as a point of contact for customers, resolve delivery issues, and handle complaints.
• Performance monitoring: Track and report on delivery performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
