Job Description

Perform routine and specialized serological tests (e.g., ELISA, Western Blot, RPR, VDRL, Hepatitis, HIV, ANA, RF, etc.).
Calibrate, operate, and maintain serology instruments and equipment.
Ensure accuracy and quality of test results through strict adherence to SOPs and quality control protocols.
Record, analyze, and report test results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Participate in the validation of new test methods and technologies.
Assist in training and supervising junior staff and interns.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., NABL, CAP, ISO).
Maintain proper documentation of all procedures and quality assurance activities.
Troubleshoot technical issues and work closely with the lab manager for resolution.
Collaborate with other departments (Microbiology, Pathology, Molecular) to support integrated patient care.
