Designation of position Purchasing Assistant / International Buyer Name of Service/Department associated with the position Purchasing Department India Main Job Purpose Prospecting worldwide to buy overstocks and unsold items at the best prices in order to sell them to international customers:  Prospecting the markets : Inquiring about new suppliers through internet, fairs, magazines and data bases ; update its own database by expanding the researches to an international level  Assessing the ability of suppliers to meet the requirements of the cost, time quality and quantity (verify the seriousness and reliability of potential suppliers)  Ensure that the products are compliant to the quality standards and to the regulations of the target markets  Negotiating the best possible conditions taking into account the technical and commercial objectives  Constitute qualified files  Placing the orders with the best possible conditions for the company  Communicating with International Buyer to help to place order  Ensuring the proper conduct of the procedure and the observance of rules and deadlines  Manage the claims and litigation with the customers and suppliers  Help the claims with the suppliers General objectives and duties Meet the qualitative and quantitative targets Individual tasks  Carry out the purchases according to the procedure  Develop and contact suppliers, search for viable overstock for our client’s market  Evaluate overstock meets the pricing and quality of our requirements  Send overstock files to designated email account  Contact Supplier, Record process, upload files  Teamwork, Communicate with managers, buyers and colleagues  Continuous monitoring of ongoing business affairs and current files  Monthly Target  Observance of the law, rules and schedules, work on the best interest of the company
