Skills & Knowledge: 1. Functional Skills Working knowledge of Purchase process & procedures. 2. Computer Skills Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and eMail (Office or Gmail) Must have Knowledge about the tally software. Primary Tasks & Activities: 1. Material & Equipment Procurement a) Raising an indent for procurement and forward to CEO for approval in order to place PO. b) Place PO. c) Obtain required documents – Certificate of Analysis & Invoice copy from Vendor at time of dispatch along with d) Lorry Receipt for Inter-State procurements. e) Obtain confirmation from Warehouse about material receipt status – as per PO or not – and take suitable action to rectify wrong supply. f) Keep CEO & concerned Department Head about progress. g) Resolving issues with Vendors for wrong supply, damages, extra charges etc. h) Coordinate with Accounts for payments to Vendor, Transporter etc. Other Tasks:- a) Monitoring Inward Stock Updation – check to ensure the right quantity & specifications are updated in the Materials Receipt System. b) Verifying Vendor Bills for payment.
