Job Description

Position Title: Bank Officer

Grade/Level: Executive / Senior Executive

Vertical: Branch Banking

Location: Liabilities Bank Branches (Across Locations)

Reports To: Team Leader / Branch Sales Manager / Branch Manager (for rural branches)


Department: Liabilities Sales/ Current Account sales and saving account sales


Job Purpose To acquire and grow the bank’s liability business by sourcing new CASA accounts, cross-selling financial products, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role demands strong sales capability, local market knowledge, and an ability to consistently achieve targets.


  • Qualifications Graduate (must have 1st division in 10th, 12th, and Graduation)
  • Age should be below 25 years
  • Preferably a local candidate

Experience1–2 years of experience in field sales (liabilities/insurance preferred) in Liabilities Sales/ Current Account sales and saving account sales

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Responsibilities Acquire CASA and liability accounts through cold calling, market references, field visits, and cross-selling.

  • Sell third-party products such as life insurance, health insurance, and mutual fund SIPs.
  • Drive revenue growth by tapping new customer segments and leveraging existing relationships.

2. Non-Financial Responsibilities Execute sales and marketing activities within the branch to meet liability targets.

  • Acquire new customers via:
  • Campaigns and local marketing activities
  • Branch walk-ins
  • Customer referrals
  • Industry associations and local networks
  • Ensure timely onboarding and smooth account opening for NTB (New-to-Bank) customers.
  • Meet overall scorecard targets (numbers & value).

3. Compliance & Risk Responsibilities Adhere to all KYC/AML guidelines, bank policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure confidentiality of bank information; no disclosure of data in any form (verbal, written, electronic)
