Job Description
Job Title: Outlet Manager (Full-Time) Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Outlets: Rasayya (Premium Indian Sweets) & Tirtha (South Indian Fast Food)
Schedule: 6 Days/Week, 10 Hours/Day
About Us: Rasayya is a premium Indian sweets brand based in Vikhroli, with a sister outlet Tirtha, that focuses on South Indian fast food. We are looking for a strong operations leader who can run day-to-day store functions independently so the founders can focus on growth, expansion, and new business initiatives.
Role Overview: The Outlet Manager will oversee both outlets, ensuring smooth operations, team performance, customer satisfaction, and consistent adherence to brand standards. The role demands strong ownership, operational discipline, and the ability to make on-the-ground decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily functioning across both outlets; ensure smooth service and quality standards.
- Manage opening/closing procedures, food and product display standards, hygiene, and safety norms.
- Monitor production and inventory levels to avoid shortages or wastage.
- Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate store staff across both locations.
- Cross-train staff in customer interaction, quality checks, opening, and closing duties.
- Build a performance-driven, positive culture.
- Handle grievances, discipline, and hiring support when required.
- Ensure fast, courteous, and consistent service across both outlets.
- Handle escalations, feedback, and customer complaints effectively.
- Maintain high hospitality standards during peak hours and festivals.
- Oversee billing, petty cash, vendor payments, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Track food cost, wastage, and operational expenses.
- Submit weekly reports to management with actionable observations and suggestions.
- Ensure that products meet expected taste, freshness, and presentation standards.
- Work with kitchen/production teams to maintain consistency.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and internal SOPs.
- Manage procurement schedules for raw materials, packaging, and disposables.
- Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate improvements where possible.
- Drive upselling and customer engagement at the counter.
- Implement campaigns, combos, and festive promotions created by management.
- Systems & SOPsImplement and maintain SOPs across both outlets.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements regularly.
- Requirements3+ years of experience in QSR, bakery, café, or retail food operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Clear communication, decision-making, and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable handling finances, reports, and POS systems.
- High personal accountability and ownership mindset.
- Ability to multitask across two outlets with minimal supervision.
- Full-time, 6 days/week
- 10 hour shifts
- Weekend/holiday availability based on business needs
