Waiter / Steward

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Welcoming and seating guests, presenting menus, and offering recommendations based on daily specials.
• Taking Orders: Accurately recording food and beverage orders and relaying them to the kitchen or bar.
• Service Delivery: Serving courses, refilling beverages, and ensuring guests have everything they need throughout their meal.
• Table Management: Setting tables before service, clearing dirty dishes, and resetting them quickly for new guests.
• Billing: Preparing checks, handling cash and card transactions, and processing payments using the restaurant's Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintaining a clean and sanitized dining area, complying with food safety standards, and maintaining excellent personal hygiene.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Communication: Clear verbal communication (Hindi English , Marathi) and interpersonal skills to handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
• Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for long periods, walk quickly, and carry heavy trays.
• Multitasking: Managing multiple tables at once during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards.
