Web Designer / Web Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Web Design

• Create modern, clean, and user-friendly website layouts using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools.
• Convert PSD/Figma designs into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS webpages.
• Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and UI/UX standards.
• Optimize graphics, images, and layouts for fast load times.

Web Development

• Develop and maintain websites using WordPress (themes, plugins, custom post types, page builders).
• Customize and extend WordPress themes using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement responsive design for a mobile-friendly experience.
• Manage website updates, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues related to themes, plugins, or hosting.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
• Possess hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and APIs.
• Back up website files to local directories for recovery purposes.
• Identify and resolve website problems based on customer feedback and testing.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with web designers to match visual design intent.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven working experience in web designing, web programming, and WordPress development.

Strong knowledge of:

• WordPress (themes, plugins, customization)
• PHP (basic to intermediate)
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adequate knowledge of relational databases, OOP concepts, and web application development.
• Hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages such as PHP, ASP.NET.
• Proficient in front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, APIs, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
• Experience with responsive and cross-browser website design.
• Understanding of website hosting, DNS, cPanel, and backups.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of SEO processes.
• In-depth knowledge of software such as Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and master diverse web technologies.
• Good communication skills.
