ob Title: Sales Executive – Chemical Trading Company
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our chemical trading business. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, conducting market and product research, maintaining strong customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities. The role requires excellent communication skills, proactive follow-up, and the ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable chemical product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and technical requirements.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and commercial offers to customers.
Conduct market research to identify new products, industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities.
Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
Follow up regularly with customers on quotations, orders, deliveries, and outstanding requirements.
Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities within target industries.
Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence.
Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly to ensure long-term business relationships.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth objectives.
Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and customer activity updates for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience in chemical sales, trading, distribution, or industrial products is an advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct market research and analyze customer requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts.
Strong follow-up and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
