Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes collaborating with team members to design software configurations and customizations that align with business process designs and application needs. This position requires careful attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure that software solutions effectively support organizational objectives and operational workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software configurations.
- Maintain documentation related to configuration changes and customizations to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Support testing activities by validating configurations and customizations to ensure they meet specified requirements.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on configuration best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in configuring and customizing software to align with business process requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integration points between sales and distribution modules and other enterprise systems.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
